The ideals that helped to shape Canada’s once-celebrated refugee policies have been gradually dismantled according to Coyle, who has extensive experience in community development with refugees from Somalia, Bosnia, and Rwanda amongst others. What do we want from Canada’s refugee policies? How do we get there? Coyle shares real life stories to help us understand current realities, and the opportunities and challenges within existing policies.
