Drivers and Dynamics of the Syrian Crisis
This presentation addresses the trajectory and possible futures of the Syrian crisis, highlighting the overlapping conflicts that have produced one of the worst humanitarian catastrophes of our time.
Samer Abboud is an Associate Professor of International Studies at Arcadia University, Philadelphia. He is also a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Center for Syrian Studies at the University of St. Andrews and has served as a fellow at the Institute for International and Security Affairs in Berlin as well as the Carnegie Middle East Center in Beirut. Dr. Abboud has published extensively on Syria in popular and academic venues, including a book on the conflict entitled Syria.
