Rylan Higgins
Assistant Professor of Anthropology, Saint Mary's University

Rylan Higgins (Ph.D., University of Arizona, 2008) is Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Saint Mary's University. His research and teaching interests include a wide range of topics that he investigates through ethnography. His current project involves CIDA funded research in Ho Chi Minh City, entitled "Foodways in Urban Viet Nam" Past projects have focused on labor and marginality in the southern United States and on social class and gender in Viet Nam. He is a strong proponent of increasing the public engagement of the social sciences.

CCEPA is a joint initiative of The Atlantic School of Theology and Saint Mary's University .
