Michael Scott

Michael Scott has spent over 30 years developing emerging companies in Canada and the United States. He is Chairman of Precision BioLogic, a Halifax-based firm that develops, manufactures and markets products used to diagnose blood coagulation disorders. Under Michael's leadership, Precision BioLogic has grown to serve most of the leading hospitals in North America and Europe, and is ranked by the Globe and Mail as one of the Best Workplaces in Canada.

Michael was a finalist in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and was a judge of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce Business Awards for several years. He serves on the Board of ALIA (Authentic Leadership in Action Institute), which conducts programs for leaders in organizational development.

Before moving to Canada, Michael spent 13 years in the US, where he was cofounder of a successful biotech firm and VP of a UK-owned technology venture. He was born and educated in England.
