Board and Staff

David Deane

David Deane is associate professor of Theology at the Atlantic School of Theology. He holds a Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Dublin, Trinity College. His first book, "Nietzsche and Theology" was published in 2007 and his second, "The Matter of the Spirit: How Soteriology Shapes the Moral Life" is forthcoming in 2014. A former fellow of the Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences his current research is focused on Christian doctrine and the moral life.

He lives in Dartmouth with his wife Jennifer and Daughters, Sophia (6) Cora (5) and Áine (1 month).
