CCEPA is pleased to support two special performances of 2b Theatre Company's

How to Disappear Completely

Performed by Itai Erdal. Directed by James Long
Produced by The Chop Shop Theatre, Vancouver

February 4 & 5, 7:00 pm
Bus Stop Theatre
2203 Gottingen Street, Halifax

Playwright, performer, lighting designer Itai Erdal's tour-de-force show is part autobiography and part live theatrical lighting demonstration.

His mother was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2000 and was given only nine months to live. Erdal moved back to Israel to spend every moment with his dying mother. During that time he took hours of film and pictures, documenting her final days. In a starkly simple yet deeply profound original work, Erdal demonstrates his approach to theatrical lighting while reflecting on the events following his mother asking him to take her life.
